Blackberry Cobbler
Place in bowl 2 qts blackberrys washed 2 cups sugar 3 Tbs cornstarch or flour When berries have been coated with mixture place in a 9X12 baking dish. Place a prepared Pillsbury pie crust on top (package kind) and pat with butter. Crust will not fit dish like a pie. Make slits in crust for juice to bubble through. Serve warm with icecream. You will not go wrong with this one.

you can cook them down to a syrup texture and pour it over your homemade icecream or simply add it to your icecream,, they are good in grape nut cereal..

bBackberry dumplings!!!
2 quarts blackberries 2 cups sugar bring to boil and continue for 3 to 5 min. to let sugar dissolve..
mix up bisquit mix (like for homemade) but make it a little thinner the if you were making the actual biscuit. While mixture is boiling drop in 1 spooneful of bis. mix at a time until you have enough. Turn down on med and boil until dumplings are fluffy... I have also used frozen biscuits--let them thaw for 15 min and cut 1 into 4 pieces and drop in blackberriy mixture. I used around 12 biscuits.
This is so good!!! Can't wait!!
