I made the Paula Dean banana pudding....and it was better than my mamas....it is so good!!!

Sour Cream Banana Pudding

6 large bananas....Box of vanilla wafers....3 small boxes of instant
vanilla (or french vanilla) pudding mix....small box of cool whip....1 8oz cup of sour cream.

Mix the pudding mix following box directions. Add cool whip and beat into pudding mixture. Add sour cream to this and beat this into mixture.

Start out with a layer of cookies. Ad a layer of bananas. Spoon in
enough of the pudding mix to cover first layer.
Do this alternating layers until you have used all ingredients.

You can use the cookie crumbs in the bag as a garnish, sprinkling them over the top. Refrigerate over night. ENJOY !!!!

If you want a good pudding, try using strawberries instead of bananas! I did this, and nobody wants banana pudding anymore, they want strawberry! Use the same recipe as for banana pudding, just use strawberries instead. It's delicious!

This is the BEST banana pudding I've ever tried. Paula Deen's 'not yo mamas banana pudding.'
I made it for Thanksgiving and it was a real hit.

bananas 6-8
vanilla wafers 1box
vanilla instant pudding 2 boxes
cool whip 1 large container

layer vanilla wafers, banana's, wafers, bananas till gone.
mix 1 box of vanilla instant pudding as directed and add 1/2 container of cool whip. Pour over wafers and bananas. Might need to gently shake container to make sure mixture is all the way thru. Let set...30 minutes or so, serve with remaining cool whip!!!
