This is a big recipe but it is great. We don't eat beef so I make it vegetarian.

Spaghetti Vegetarian Casserole
6 ounces uncooked multi-grain spaghetti
1 Tbl. olive oil spread (or butter)
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (can use nonfat for less calories)
1 (26 oz.) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
(I used Classico fire roasted tomato & garlic @ 50 cal / 1/2 cup serving)
2 cups chopped green pepper
1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained (I used Hunt's Organic basil oregano @ 20 cal / 1/2 cup)
8 oz. nonfat cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (I used Kraft Pizza cheese - mozzarella & cheddar)

(Use whatever spices you want. I used extra oregano, but the others were already in the sauce and tomatoes).
3 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
1 Tbl basil or 12 fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)

Makes 12 servings.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish with cooking spray.

May make ahead and freeze or refrigerate, then thaw before cooking.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain & pour into bowl. Add olive oil spread and Parmesan cheese; toss to coat.
In a nonstick pan, spray a small amount of cooking spray and saute the onion and pepper. Add Morningstar Farm Crumbles, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and seasonings. Heat throughout.
Stir in cottage cheese and cooked spaghetti. Add 1-1/2 cups shredded cheese. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, cover & bake at 350 degrees F. for about 40 minutes or until heated through.

Brown 1 lb ground beef with some finely chopped onion. Add 2 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu Robusto tomato, onion, and garlic). Prepare 1 lb. pkg spaghetti and drain. Mix 2 eggs, 1/3 c parmesan cheese, and 4 TBS melted margarine. Add to spaghetti noodles and toss thoroughly to coat. I sometimes add a little season salt to the noodles too.

Add half the spaghetti noodles to a casserole pan. Spread a thin layer of sour cream on top (I use a bit over a cup). Top with about 4 oz provolone and 4 oz mozzarella cheese slices. Add half the sauce. Add the rest of the noodles, top with 4 more oz of each kind of cheese. Add the rest of the sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Can't beat it for an easy recipe! Delicious!!

My sister n law makes her baked spaghetti like this.

3/4 pound lean ground beef
1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 pound spaghetti
1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, cook hamburger until brown. Mix spaghetti sauce into skillet. Reduce heat and simmer.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Mix in pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
Mix together spaghetti and meat mixture, pour into 9x13 pan. Top with cheese and bake for 30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
