make a couple extra and after they are done put them in the fridge overnight to cool them off. In the morningcut them into cubes and put into cast iron skillet with a little olive oil and a few peppers and onions fry until crisp turning very carefully!!!

400 degrees for about 1 hour, Depends on type and size of potato. But, oiling them with olive oil and rubbing with kosher salt, without foil, makes them really good.

Also, when you wrap in foil, wrap with the shiny side in toward the potato. The shiny side is more condusive to heat... so says Martha Stewart.

I have potatoes in the oven now. Usually around an hour to bake. I think they taste better when baked in the oven than the microwave. I also put some sea salt and butter on the outside of the poatoe before wrapping it in the tin foil. Yum!

400 degrees and check every 15 min. Depends on the size of the potato as to actually how long. Quicker in the microwave - about 7 min. Also check approximately halfway through. Good Luck!!

45 mins to an hour at 400 degrees. After 45 mins I check by sticking a fork into the side and go from there. Don't start timing until the oven is pre-heated.

I know this isn't what you asked, but if you have a microwave, hit that suckah for 10 minutes and then put it in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes.
Otherwise, I'd do it for one hour in the oven at 375.

I need a quick answer. It has been forever since I cooked a baked potatoe in the oven. I think an hour. But how long and what temp?
