Renee, thatt sounds alot like twice baked potatoes to me.

I've never baked mashed potatoes. I'd just make the mashed potatoes and mix in cooked bacon. I think I would put that in the baking dish and top it with cheese. Or mix in the cheese, and top it with more, or top it with another kind. And baked til the cheese is melted and a little brown. I would garnish with chives and sour cream. That sounds good.

I am looking for a recipe for baked mashed potatoes that has cheese and bacon in it.
