Can of Van Camps Pork 'N Beans, 2-3 tablespoons Kraft BBQ sauce (I use original), 1-2 tablespons of Molasses (depending on how sweet you like it) - - you can always add browned hamburger, onions, peppers, etc. But I get great reviews on the plain beans.

i just use pork and beans, usually 2 cans, a little diced white onion, you decide how much you like, a lil mix of green and red peppers, a lil less than a 1/4 cup of ketchup and about 2 tablespoons of light or dark brown sugar. MIx it all together! Swear you wont regret it! Pop in the oven for 30 mins!

Yep it is. But if you eat alot of hot, spicy food then the hot might be what you would like. Try it and see....

I was gonna ask if hot or medium. But then assumed hot. Glad you posted again.. I'll probably go with medium and add a little hot sauce if needed. Hard to get that hot back out...

Storm thanks. Glad you liked them. I forgot to tell in the recipe that you can use mild, medium, or hot salsa. I have tried them all I perfer the med, but my hubby loves them hot. As far as the "Bush's Grilling Beans" never tried them. Thanks for the warning !!!

Along with this same vein I tried a can of the Bush Grilling Beans. Had to throw them away. Filthiest bean I have ever had in my mouth. I have sent the label to Jay and the dog and asked for a refund -- (satisfaction guaranteed, dont ya know!)

Thats true, but I just perfer Bush's. You can use whatever you like. I know the way everything costs these days you have to cut corners whereever you can. I hope you enjoy them !!

I normally don't like baked beans with hamburger but this sounds good enough to try.
Van Camp baked beans are better and cheaper than Bush.

The best and easiest (?) Baked Beans that you can fix are really simple. I fix these a lot for church dinners.
11/2 pd. Hamburger 2 cans Bush's original Baked Beans 1 (16-oz or Larger) Jar Thick-n-Chunky Salsa
Brown Hamburger and drain. Place hamburger in crockpot. Mix beans and salsa in with hamburger. Cook on high for 2 hrs. or on low for 4 hrs. I know you will love these !!!!
