Thanks MaryJane,, but I was trying to get a starter that was already made and ready to put the fruit in. I got a late start and was hoping to get the cakes baked and ready for Christmas day so I'd have to start right now.

Is there anyone who might give me a starter for a 30 day cake aka Friendship Cake? Someone here gave me one a few years ago but I can't remember who it was.

If anyone has one they wouldn't mind sharing I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
