Spray paint works if you have nothing else, but I tend to feel sorry for the yellow jackets..unless i get stung pretty bad. It takes a lot of spray paint.

Skunks are natural predators of yellow jackets. Rent a skunk, or better yet, just leave them alone. Many are quick to end a life. Can you MAKE a life? Leave em alone. Or are you a skunk?

Sounds witchy, but I tried this and it works for wasps.. Hang a zip-lock bag filled with about 2/3 water and drop a few SHINNY pennies in it. Put the bag where wasps hang out. They will go away. Really worked for me.

I lay down a stick trap used for mice etc. When one gets stuck, they all get stuck. Already took care of 4 nests this year using these. They die a horribly slow death which I consider revenge for all the stings I've received from them over the years.
