So you have no HOT water? In other words the water is on, just not hot...

If that is the case, you need to check the water heater heating element.

Yes the cold water is coming out but when I turn on the hard water no water comes out. I will just have to wait it out, at least we still have cold water. Thanks for the advice about turning off the water heater and releasing pressure.

Do you mean no water is coming out when you turn on the hot water or do you mean cold water comes out? If you mean no water runs from the hot side and you have an electric water heater it would be good idea to turn the power off to the water heater to prevent the element from poseibly burning out.

Its hard to find were its froze at the easiest thing to do is get a garage heater and heat up the under of ur house its not warming up for days. And be careful with those things they get super hot.

If you "unfreeze" today you may want to get a heat tape and some insulation on your pipes as the forecast calls for colder temps midweek.

Need to leave a faucet on so if it thaws you can release pressure on the pipes and you will know when it thaws. If you can figure out where it's froze and have access to that pipe I use a hair dryer to slowly thaw the pipe. It doesn't do any damage like a torch. My hubby learned the hard way.

Same here. We left water stream on iin the kitchen last night. Everything frozen this morning. Unless you have like a high power shop heater to run under the house, you'll wait it out. If you have access to a creek, collect several jugs or large buckets full so you can flush the toilet. You know you can pour water directly into the toilet bowl to flush it, but you gotta pour about a half gallon from a bucket in order to provide enough pressure for the flush. You're gonna need some drinkng water for cooking and such. Good luck!

Hope it warms up! Not much else you can do unless you want to spend some money and call someone. Good luck!

What can be done if anything? Is it just a waiting game? I left the water dripping last night, but it must have not be enough because it still froze up.
