I'll admit I've never heard of a vole. Powerball, did you mean Vole or Mole? What would be the difference? I don't think I've ever seen either although I have seen mole damage.

Someone also mentioned warf rats. Do those dig holes and travel underground too?

Kill the food source, the grubs...vibrations sometimes work, a cat, dog or digging animal.

to make that simplier for you its basicaly a feild mouse with slightly webbed feet. It is a vegatiaren (i know thats spelled wrong lol ) it eats flower bulbs, tree roots , grass roots ,etc. A windmill may help but the best ting i know of is ramik green rat poisen just put it directly in the holes. no amount of insect or grub killer will help . Good luck they are very hard to deal with i have heard of them distroying hundreds of different fruit trees in the mountians .

A vole is a small rodent resembling a mouse but with a stouter body, a shorter hairy tail, a slightly rounder head, smaller ears and eyes, and differently formed molars (high-crowned and with angular cusps instead of low-crowned and with rounded cusps). There are approximately 155 species of voles. They are sometimes known as meadow mice or field mice in North America. Vole species form the subfamily Arvicolinae with the lemmings and the muskrats.

I thought Juicy Fruit gum would do it or that might be for Moles.

Put little peices of gum in there holes.

believe it or not, a windmill. Evidently they can't stand the vibration in the ground. They were tearing me up 3-4 years ago, tried traps and everything. Windmill did the trick
