ORGANIC solution. Tractor supply and Chris' feed store both sell diatomaceous earth (fossil flour). I put it in a mason jar and poke holes in the lid and shake it over plants and around the bases of them. DE is made of the skeletal remains of ancient sea critters called diatoms. The skeletons are sharp and irritate/kill unwanted pests. It can also be mixed with pet food to aid in deworming.

Yes several times Moving and bought the best stuff I could find. Never saw this before or anything like it...My thoughts are they should be destroyed, so that is what I shall be doing, hate for that to spread about if it hasn't already. I think when I bought them they was like this...so this stuff may have already been plagued on us..**** MANSEEDO (miss-spelled on purpose) groups...messing with all this genetically altered foods so they don't re-grow just sucks. Did you know out west if you plant something that is not approved, they sue you? You can't just plant yourself a garden like folks here do, you have to plant exactly what they say.

Sounds like a fungus. Have you sprayed with a fungicide?

They stopped Making 7Dust now it's called 8Dust....why they did that I have no idea! 7Dust just sounds so much better and has been around for as many years as I have and ****ed that's a long time.

But it works and works well, some of my plants turned blackish at the bottoms and whatever this is grew up the base of the plant onto the leaves and Nothing I have done has stopped it. Moved the plants into new area's and separated them and the infected ones I removed completely still no joy. Must be some sort of blight or mold as no remedy I have tried works. From what I'd reckon they are infected from birth, last years plants I bought from another vendor and had no problems. That said, the tomato's themselves are huge, ready to pick and seem to be fit for eat'n. Next season and this winter I am trying for Heirloom tomato's which are twice the size of Big Boys or seem to grow bigger for me! I only set out a couple this year but next that is all I going to sit. The did not seem to be bothered by the black death either, that just be a thing for Roundup ready plants.

I have a few tomato plants on my deck. they are doing good. just a few tomatoes are now forming, but I have been noticing on some of the leaves there is something eating them.. I just found some of the culprits. tiny black worms with stripes. How can I get rid of them my dog is around them once in awhile so I dont want to put any thing on them that would hurt him. Help
