You're really going to call the "tater plants" and expect to get an intelligent answer, much less be able to make sense of one?

"gittin' out taters"....wow! Barefoot, hot as hades, cool water from the branch, red dirt stained feet....and best of all ~ laying flat down in the branch when all the taters were out and the buckets loaded on the wagon.

Just like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and all the other holidays. The WHOLE family came together to get the taters out cause everybody got to enjoy them over the next few months.

Those were the days! I miss them.

I think it depends on whether you plant their noses or their eyes!

PAW PAW just sit on the egg until the taters are ready to pick. They will both be ready about the same time.

How long are you willing to sit on it?

PawPaw6

Posted 7:25 pm, 05/12/2011

How long before the egg will hatch?

NancyDrew

No, you cannot plant eggs to get chickens! Even this ole "city" gal knows that!

You are not being much help to me about this. But I know that I an not eating dirty potatoes..I not really sure if I should ask the question about the egg my chicken birthed today or not.

Dirt makes them better! More nutrients.
