Certain spray foams today are water blown, and have no off gas. Green builders consider is top pick. Concerned consumers will investigate each product before purchase. Read the specs on a bag of fiberglass concerning cancer causing agents.

That spray in stuff is also called (by dissatisfied customers) stink and shrink. It has a lot of formaldehyde in it and is not very healthy to be continually exposed to.

The spray in foam is better priced and alot better insulation, call FoamWorks 838-5300.

I found the price of the styrofoam panels to be cost prohibitive for insulating my garage, it's very expensive when compared to un-faced fiberglass insulation, it also has a very low R-value by comparision

it's problem is that it's rigid. can't "wrap" as easily as the rolls.

check the insulation value and depending on the application it might work for you

I have an outbuilding that needs insulation. I've never used the sheets of styrofoam insulation, but they seem easier to install than fiberglass. Anybody know if they still insulate as well as the old pink stuff?
