I thought you would say, you pulled on your sock and there was a stink bug inside! Lol

Truth, your house is a very similar in situation as mine. you have some trees that are pretty close to your windows and door openings. they use those trees as launch pads. i have a sprayer i keep on the porch filled with the concentrate. about once a week i walk along the front of my porch and sprayer upwards into those trees, especially after heavy rain.

and i agree Satan, i so hope this year is better. last year was massive. obviously a bit traumatic on my part. here i am a year later and i started in june to protect my house.

just a side story to my nightmare: i will never forget the night i was so exhausted from battling stink bugs. all i wanted was to throw myself down on my bed and sleep. when i did, i realized my feet were dirty from wearing flip flops that particular day. i got out of the bed, went to the dresser and pulled out a pair of socks, put them on and went back to bed.

last year i posted about being absolutely invaded by stink bugs. i battled them for weeks, to near exhaustion. it was the apocalypse. about 2 1/2 weeks into the invasion, i finally found a product to use on my house. with the shorter days and cooler evening temperatures, the invasion season is now ready to begin again, i thought i would post to help others.

i had to send away for the product as i could not find it locally. it is called Suspend Polyzone. there is another product that one of my neighbors used and i have also heard good things about it, called Talstar.

being wiser this year, i had my house sprayed in june (from gables to ground). my house was sprayed again about 2 weeks ago. i checked my amazon orders for last year and today is just about dead on for the being of the invasion last year. so far i am seeing the occasional stink bug land on my house but they don't stay. i find a few dead ones on the porch that i sweep off in the morning.

i highly recommend the above mentioned product.
