Planting bulbs

I've got some I'm gonna plant tomorrow. Should be okay even if it frosts because they won't be sprouting out of the ground for a few more weeks anyhow, but if they do, and there comes a frost, you can cover them.

Thanks for the helpful tips, I will wait atleast another week before planting them.

I just looked on the package and it says you plant these 3" deep. They are Rain Lilly's and it says the bloom in late summer. I haven't ever planted bulbs so I don't know if these will do good or not.

If the bulbs needs a depth of 8 to 10 inches it will be alright to plant them now, other than that depth I would wait a few more days.

Are they the new florescent bulbs or the old condesent ones. I hear you get a tax break for the florescent ones.

Is it still too early to plant bulbs? The package I bought them in says March-April but I want to make sure to get them in the ground at the best time. I would prefer earlier blooms, so I would like to get them started soon.
