I get around 18 channels with my antenna. I have a converter box in my living room and one in my bedroom and am using a splitter outside.

Good luck finding one. Most are rated by range, get at least a 250 miler. Booster is a must. the uni-directional with rotor has a greater range. From south Wilkes, the other side of the Brushys, I get Winston, Charlotte, Highpoint, Greensboro and Burlington.

i'm near the top of a mountain get 3 pbs stations on a db4 antenna and some fuzz from a boone station
i'm not spending $600.00+$300.00 for shipping for a rohn tower, base and cap to get an antenna 30ft off the ground, a few $100.00(3-5 if i'm lucky) for mounting ,another $100.00 plus for an antenna $175.00 for a rotator and amp and still be flipping a coin as to whether or not i get another station. charter's prices suck but...

I use this one, plus an amplifier, both from Elkin. For around $100 I get 2,3,8,9,12,14,18,26,45,48. I'm down in a holler with about a 20 foot mast so if you are on higher ground you should do better than me. That cost doesn't include rotor I have it on corner post of back deck and turn it by hand.

You are right there, BRG. Never trust a gov't website. Better yet, never trust the gov't.

According to the data on the link, I am only supposed to get 12 and 26. LOL

Are you using any amplification? Terrain has a lot to do with it too. Right now, I am able to pick up 19 channels but I live in hilly terrain and I am using 40db of amplification.
