Thanks white. I figured it had to be easier to set up than back in the old days. If Charter keeps going up we will be figuring out how to do it.

I think you can do either or DaddyP. Mine has a control box and a remote for the rotor. I hooked TV out from the box to the in on my tv. I then ran tv2 out to my outside box, where it is tied into the rest of the house. Two other tv's total, I think it worked well

Do outside antennas hook up outside where your cable runs in or do you have to run a wire from outside to each TV like in the old days? I remember we had the wires running in a window.

Go to this website, put in your address, and it should show you roughly what you might expect to pick up on an antenna.

One great thing with digital tv is that if there is a signal, it is a perfect picture. Most people think of antenna tv with snow, ghosts, etc of yesteryear. It doesn't work like that anymore.

Last time I checked with Charter (face to face in the office)
$39.99 (total) for 30/3 internet only for the first year.
$54.99 after that.

i'm paying $138.00 for basic and expanded basic, 2HD boxes with 30m internet. i think charters everything package (except spanish channels) is $190.00+ it ads hbo, cinemax starz, encore (6+ channels each) and maybe 10 other channels they feel the need to charge extra/call premium for i have a whole lot of nothing and reruns available to watch though
