Nut tree questions

I recently discovered hazelnut bushes on my property that produce nuts. I like eating the filbert hazelnuts that are roasted and salted and come in a can of mixed nuts. I would like to hear from anybody who has information about the hazelnuts that grow around here and if they taste good and are easy to grow.

Chinese Chestnut Trees grow good but make a mess with many burrs on the ground. Also have a tendency to get worms in them. I've seen a few pecan trees around. Shagbark hickory. Black Walnut trees are plentiful and grow very fast. Place an ad on here---I'm sure somebody will know where to get em.
