I'm guessing it's the O ring between the toilet and the floor. Bee's wax toilet rings go bad and they can leak and you'd never know it because the wood in your flooring will suck it up like a sponge. If you live in a trailer, I would suggest you get that checked asap else you will be replacing your floor too.

its not the flapper that would fill the bowl

measure from the wall behind the toilet to the center of either of the bolts that fasten the toilet to the floor. What you got?

If you have the older 5 gallon per flush toilets then replace both of them. The new ones use 1.4 gal. The only other possibilty is the auto-drain vent under the bathroom or kitchen sinks is not opening causing a suction when they drain. That is unlikely though and wouldn't make the dripping sound.

yeah I thought about the food color thing so ill give that a try and go from there also the toilet u suggested would that fit in a trailer ive noticed that a house toilet is somewhat bigger then a trailer one if I needed to go that route

Yes a new flapper would most likely fix it. I'd check and make sure the tank is not overfilling into the overflow and put some food coloring in the tank. If the water in the bowl changes color it's the flapper or the flange where the flapper contacts the bowl to tank connection is cracked or needs cleaned.

Bee no its not a slow flush it flushes fine just after its done it slowly drains out takes about a hour to it and crypt would replacing the flapper help cause if I could do just that it would be great also I didn't say but I have two in the trailer this is the only one doing it and also the water supply valve was leaking so I replaced that with a new one and line and I have plenty of length to reach I wanted to have it longer then shorter and it was gray but I upgraded it

So the water in the toilet bowl slowly disappears. Yes the flapper is leaking. I recommend you get the $100 Auqa Source toilet from Lowes. It comes with everything you need.

A question...do you notice the slow flush after you wash a load of clothes??
That would be because of the suds in the drain line.

ok there has got to be some DIYers on so let me ask. My toilet bowl slowly drains after flushing Ive checked the vent tube its not blocked, ive replaced the wax ring and ive checked to see if there was anything in the J tube nothing and ive also snaked out the drain tube and the water level in the tank does not get lower. If it helps its a trailer and after ive flushed it I hear water dripping sounds but there is no water on the floor or any leakage under the trailer could it be the seal between the tank and bowl or the flapper gasket any help would be great
