In the spring I might try a plant called "Wandering Jew" which I was able to keep alive during the summer months. Ferns always die and Flowers never Bloom. LOL

I thought cactus were the easiest green plant to grow. So I must have a black thumb instead of a green thumb. Not quit ready to give up on them yet though.

They need love. You need to pet their little heads ;)

The soil is not dry but only a little damp. I won't water them until the soil is really dry next time. I do check on them daily but over a few days they have just almost died. Trying to bring them back to life is not easy. Some brown spots have appeared on the cactus which may turn green once they receive some sun light. It is a fact that I don't know anything about growing a large healthy cactus but I am trying.

Whether to water them or not is not the problem. I really think they need sunshine daily.

One cactus gets sunshine everyday and the other cactus never get any sun light so I will have to move it and see if that helps it. My neighbor gave me some rich potting soil when seen to help some. If I can keep they living until spring I will move them outside.

Without having a green thumb I thought I would try several different kink of cactus. They grew and looked healthy but now both are dying. I water them about once a month and even re potted one of them. Maybe I need to start talking to them like Prince Charles does to his plants. Now is the time to bring them back to life and have healthy cactus again. You would not believe how I pampered those 2 cactus but they look like death warmed over. I haven't given up on them yet and will move them so they receive some sun light. Yes water and sunlight is what they need. I need to google and read about taking care of cactus and what I am doing wrong.
