We have used Cabot's and Thompson's seal both and neither hold up well on wood.

Expensive...so is restaining and rebuilding deck...over and over and over. That tish is pretty indestructible.

Does get a little hot to the touch though.

If you walk around barefoot on that plastic wood you need tuff feet for the heat.

that plastic stuff is expensive as h***

Rebuild deck and use that plastic stuff that simulates wood. Comes in different colors and eliminates staining.

put some thompsons water seal in a garden sprayer or roll it on and dont worry about it

Question? Would the spray in bed liner work on a wooden deck? Question? Would it be cost effective?

Nothing has the staying power of Cabot Stains.

F'ing wind broke my umbrella pole (I forgot to drop it down and tie it up)

Some of the comments I read said that 'prepping' the wood beforehand is a real job.

I was just reading that the rustoleum doesn't hold up well.

I was going to use that RustOleum Restore but I read reviews from many people that said the stuff only lasted about a year. Same with Home Depot's Deckover.

I ended up covering it with carpet tiles.
