manufactured home strip removal

IDEA.. remove the strips, paint your walls and use wood strips to put back in place of the strips you took down.. You can pre cut and paint to make it easier. Just paint over the nails when up. It is easier than using mud and having to sand them. This is time consuming and hard work. If you home is like ours they are like 12 or more in each room.. I don't like these at all.

We used mud in our bathroom in a few spots and over the years it has shifted or something leaving a crack.. Not sure why.

The best way is to prime the walls then tape and mud them. Use the premixed mud. Or you can have me do it for a reasonable price I have plenty of experience in all phases of remodeling 927 4731

just paint them with the walls ?
the strips probably hide the joints and the nails or screws that hold the wallboard up,
it's cheaper than using sheet rock and drywall mud & tape.

I live in manufactured housing and would like to update by painting the patterned wallboard a solid color. I want to remove those strips that must have been on sale and they bought a boat load and used most of them. Is there any way of patching where the strips were that doesn't include sanding, since I am allergic to dust and sanding makes such a mess. I was hoping there was an easier product out there that I wasn't aware of, but I doubt it. Thanks
