I am a avid knitter. I love it and knit all the time. I teach a knitting class on Monday Mornings from 9-11. If anyone is interested let me know. This is through my church, Peace Haven on Byrd Ridge Rd. There is no charge and we have fun. Right now we are meeting at one of the members house but the church is available if we get more people than we can handle at her house. Let me know if you need more information. I have been knitting about 40 odd years. oh my, that is a long time!!!!

this is sounding great. we are up to 3 now.
i don't consider myself a teacher at all, but i love to do these kinds of things and i think i can explain it in a practical manner. whether i do it perfectly, or if i use the right words ... well that is a coin toss.
i want to learn from other people too. gwgirl do you have thursdays during the day free? if so, i think we should make this happen.

That is a beautiful sweater!! I can't imagine how long you have been at this hobby to be that good! I can crochet, but only scarves, blankets...yeah, that's it. Nothing fancy. I tried my skill at a beanie hat a week ago fo my 19 month old, but it looks the size for a newborn! :( I would relly prefer to learn to do them the way I see the styles in the stores. I think they knit. I also did a couple of pansies to add to the side, but since it doesn't fit her, I am waiting to see if my step sil is having a girl or boy. I would love to knit, but don't know how. If you decide to get anyone together for grps or something, I sure would be interested in learning how if you think you can teach! :) I just need to know what I need to start with. Thanks..

i am going to keep trying until i find someone with a common interest.
please meet wyatt my grandson. he's over a year old now but i wanted to show a sweater i made for him. as this is the son of my step daughter, she has really honored me by saving this sweater amongst her treasures she is saving for wyatt.
this year i made glommits, part mittens part gloves.
last winter i made socks for several relatives as well.
anyone else knit?
