Oh I forgot to add......Directv said that the DVR will fix itself within 48 hours.

Ours did the same. We called directv and cost $49.00 to upgrade to the new DVR, but he said not everyone will be eligible for the upgrade at this price. A tech man is coming out tomorrow to install the new one. We just took the box out of the bedroom to use in the living room until tomorrow.

Nope. Got rid of DTV in 2004 after they doubled my bill and could not explain why. After holding and listening to elevator music on the phone for an extended period of time and being hung up on, they then tried to say I had missed a payment, which was not true. After producing proof of payment they did lower bill but still overcharged me and tried to make me pay early disconnect charges even though my contract had ended two months prior. Have done well without this type of service since. I'm happy with Redbox, Netflix and public TV.

We can't get the dvr box in the living room to work but our one that's not dvr in the bedroom works fine..I tried hitting the reset button but nothing..any help would be appreciated. I did call direct TV with no help
