The new fangled light bulbs called CFL's work for tomatoes. 18 hours a day for growing and 12 hours a day for flowering and fruiting.

U cant put tiny starts under to hot a light it will kill them.u can start them under a florecent growlight.when they grow stronger u give them a better light and start feeding them
set them out after threat of frost

Growing lights works real well. Keep those plants watered and fertilized well, and make sure you got plenty of rolling paper or a pipe, and set back and watch your tomatoe garden do its things. Where your tomatoes do any good or not you want care. Yew Haw.

I once planted a Mary Jane in the Greenhouse and my Husband killed it. It was a gift from a dear friend.
