They sell light weight bungee cords. A person could trick one out with beads or funky fringe. A bedazzled bungee cord might actually be cool and functiional

I wonder if I should patent that I idea ...

They used to sell some large elastic bands that would fit the top of the can and hold the bag on.

my trash bags have a drawstring type top. my trashcan has an inner ring at the top that flips up. i draw up the opening of the bag and tuck it around the inner ring. it flips back down and holds nicely

Yeah, pretty sure it's 13 gal. I just know the box says "fits tall kitchen trash cans". Heck I can't even tell you what brand they are! Yellow box!!

I have tried Glad Brand and Dollar General Brand with built in ties....Dollar General worked just a well if not better for my tall trash can....just my experience....have not tried Hefty Brand...

I use the bags that have the four flaps you use to tie the bag closed when filled and they work fine on my tall kitchen trash can.

Get the kind of trash can that has the swinging lid and sits down on top and it will hold the bag.

On trash cans and trash bags, one size does not fit all like support hose.

BlueIvy, I will give the knot thing a try. Thanks.

Happens to me too, no matter what brand. I tie a knot on the side of the bag, to keep it tight around the trash can.

Same thing happens to me.

Why doesn't a tall kitchen trash bag fit my trash can? Its irritating you put one thing in it and the bag falls inside.

The bag maker and can maker need to get together.

Its ridiculous
