I'm curious on what your final purchase was...? I'm considering between the same two mowers currently. Any input is appreciated.

Bobcat does a good job,it will lose the back end pretty quick on hilly slopes. It is probably my driving that causes this.I have also used a zero turn Cub Cadet from the Wilkes Electric Motors. The steering is really good and also handles real well on the slopes.

Get a BobCat or one of the John Deere commercial mowers. Fast to me is a no no to me. The faster you go, the quicker you get done, but the cut isn't smooth. Simplicity makes a good mower which stripes the lawn.

We have a Ferris and love it, sold at the logger shop on 421. They are a bit spendy but are the best mower I have ever used. Dad has a Bobcat and its the same quality cut as the Ferris, just slower and less comfy seat. Brothers has a commercial grade John Deere and its also on par with the Ferris, just slower. Hope this helps. Never used a hustler or husky

It's mowing season and I only get a few responses? I've done a lot of research and searched for reviews online but I'd really like to get some feedback from some folks on here. Anybody on here own a zero turn mower that cuts and stripes a yard very well? Anyone on here own a Hustler or Husqvarna zero turn?

I forgot to add my biggest concern is having a nice cut right out of the box! I will definitely either purchase a striping kit (if the mower has a specific kit available) or make a striping kit myself.

A Kabota Zero Turn is an animal ,,, Check out one before you buy anything.

Thanks for your responses. @Lawnmowerman, Wilkes Electric Motor sells the Hustlers and J & B Greene sells the Husqvarnas that I've checked out. I'm not purchasing from a box retailer, I want a hand fabricated deck, not stamped.

If most of your grass is field grass get the Husqvarna. It is better built than the Hustler according to the specs. If you want it to look good when you are done get an Exmark, Bobcat, or Ferris. They don't cost a whole lot more. Go to a dealer for whatever you buy. Avoid big box stores for such purchases, warranty issues will be a nightmare.

Hey folks, just wanna get some feedback. Which zero turn mower would you suggest and why...Hustler Raptor SD or Husqvarna (maybe the M-ZT 52 or M-ZT 61)? This mower will be used as a residential mower, less than 3 acres of land to mow, very few hills (and the hills are not steeply sloped). Looking to purchase soon so please chime in and let me know what you think. Thanks all
