How to keep your rose plant blooming?

Use Fertilizer for roses and use sparingly twice monthly also keep it dead-headed (cutting any bulbs left after blooming) and any dead parts such as leaves and branches. Removing the bulbs will encourage more bulbs to form another bloom. You will be surprised at the difference!! At the end of summer, around Sept. Oct. cut the whole bush back leaving at least 3 inches out from the ground. It would not hurt to bed them down lightly with pine needles, mulch, straw, or leaves over the winter.

I have 2 miniature rose bushes outside and they have done really well outside. this is the first year I have had miniature roses. My aunt said that she has 2 miniature rose bushes that she planted outside a few years ago and they have come back every year with out a problem. Good luck to you with your rose bush. if you still do not want to put it outside try some Miracle Grow for Roses.

I've never had any luck trying to grow a miniature rose in a flower pot. I do have a couple of them outside with my other roses and they do really well there. I would google tea roses for help on keeping them healthy indoors.

If your a gardener then I need a few suggestions, I have a mini rose plant by the window. Though it's only had a few solid 2 blooms for this year, but when I first got it half died to my fault cause I didn't give it sun light. But is there any kind multch, seeding or maybe spray to use to help the bush expand around the pot again? I was also woundering if you can mix colors of other rose bushes within a single big pot without killing them. These are more or lless house plants, I dont know if it would be possible to grow a full rose like on a porch hanging within the outside of the window but would be intresting to give a try.
