Geraniums, Gerber Daisies, Petunias or Fuchsia would be a good choice.

Petunias are my first choice for hangers. Overwintering is not a good idea for hangers because you should start out each summer with fresh soil.

I don't have a green thumb and don't know a lot about plants or flowers. I would like to find a couple of hanging plants to hang on my front porch. Every time I try this they usually die because my porch gets full sun all summer for several hours a day into sunset. What are some pretty plants that can handle the heat and sun? Are there any that can be taken in for the winter and then put back out in spring>? If not, I would be happy for suggestions for annuals. I just would like some to survive the summer.
