I bought a 150 mile digital antenna a couple of years ago with wireless remote it without turning anything I easily pick up over 30 channels in an area that was not suppose to have any signal at all. If interested let me know and I will see if company still has. They were no more than $60. Good Luck. Email priceisperfect@yahoo.com.

That's a folded dipole with double co-phased helical arrays with corner reflectors and will work well if the stations are within 75 miles. To pull them in from 300 miles away you gonna need a 20 ft. Yagi Uda Array atop s 250 ft. tower. It has to do with the curvature of the earth and secants.

Here is a good source to determine your location and stations you might get. Location and your terrain will determine if an antenna is even feasible. Click on this link, ensure you include your street address to get more of an accurate report. http://www.antennaweb.org/Address.aspx

The Lava digital antennas work really well. Just stay away from the knockoffs though. I know people that have bought one of the knockoffs and they weren't happy with them.

Wife has a cousin in Winston that has one. Works great but he is close to Winston, Greensboro, and no mountains between his house and Charlotte. I think he gets seven channels.

Remember, no mountains to the south.
