Make sure you sterilize your containers before you plant or replant anything in them. Otherwise you will have the same algae problem again. Over watering and not letting your plants dry out properly can also cause algae on the top of the soil.

its probally because moss of a kind is growing inside the soil .

Elmo, after Googling your problem, I've found that most commercial growers will place bees inside. In your case, however, you'll need to help the plants to self-pollinate. Use a paint brush to extract pollen and spread the love. Arguably, you can also simply shake the plants and that's enough to self-pollinate. It's just something you'll have to kind of figure out by experience.

it is actually algae. It will form where the humidity is very high in the soil. Peppers, especially the hot cultivars preferhot temps and little water being that the majority of pepper plants is native to hot, arid climates.

I didn't finish my thought/question ....

I haven"t put up the greenhouse until I can figure out how things pollinate. Do people put bees inside? How do you keep bugs out but pollinators in?

You might want to think about ventilating it somehow. You will lower the humidity and get a good air exchange at the same time.

I have a green house frame that i want to make a permanent structure. Currently it is stored under my porch. I can't figure out how plants get pollinated inside a greenhouse.

Peppers like hot temps. Not much water. What kind of soil? Cheap dollar store soil will not work.

Does anyoe know why my soil would turn green, as in moss,in a tiny greenhouse? Nothing grew in the pots, just green. I planted hot peppers, green peppers, and tomatoes to replant but did not grow. I also have green on my larger grow pots this year. I have scooped it off and added fresh soil, but why?
