You'll need around 336 blocks total, average labor $1.75 each to lay, cost average $1.50 each, so theres about $1100. You'll still need to dig and pour a footer, thats at least $600. J bolts, waterproofing, foundation drain piping will add another $200.

I'd say the very best you could do would be $2000. That price could easily be doubled if you get involved with the wrong people. Be careful of who you hire.

any guesstimations on the cost of a 20 X 16 footer foundations 6 blocks high?

or a slab foundation of the same dimensions?
