That is correct. Nothing will kill a boxwood root. The only thing a boxwood is good for is throwing a persons back out.

You must apply the rock salt to the roots of the shrub. Dig around the shrub and pour the rock salt onto the roots. Alternatively, cut down the shrub first and then apply the rock salt.

I have had the shrubs/bushes cut down in front of my house. What is a great home remedy to kill the roots so they won't reappear next year? If there is not a home remedy, what can I purchase to kill these suckers? muhaha. Thanks!
