I found some good ant killer at Dollar Tree a couple of years ago. I stocked up and still have some , so I don't know if they still carry it or not.

I use corn meal. Non toxic for kids and animals. Sprinkle it where ants are coming into the home.

Actually borax is toxic. It just takes what is considered a large dosage

Growing up, we would always sprinkle instant grits around ant hills. They would eat the grits, then drink water, and the grits would expand in their stomach and kill them.

I've used the borax / sugar recipe with cotton balls. Works really good on ants that like sugar. Depends on the type of ant u have, some will only require sweet/protein etc

Elmo, have you tried food grade diatomaceous earth in your basement? That works too!

i haven't used vinegar but what goddess says is true, the scent trail has to be cleaned up.

If you are into the all natural kinda stuff, I put peppermint oil on a cotton ball and put it below the sink and other random places. It works. Don't know how, lol.....but it works.
