If you paint, try KILZ paint from WM. I have used it on all of my wallpapered walls and it has covered well with 1 coat .

Thanks Ricky.. I still have not started yet.. so much else going on, but I will def. try this because it has to be covered up really really good.

We had the sme thing in our home and when we added on we painter the walls white but first we had to use a really good white primer, just make sure that you get the right primer for the paint you buy we used 1 coat primer and 1 coat white and it covered really good.

You can buy wallpaper that looks like real logs, it even has a chinking joint in grey to further add realism. Wall outlet covers made of metal or wood with animals carved in them also look nice.

I'm in need of a bedroom makeover... We bought our home almost 19 years ago. It is a manufactered home and the wall paper has flowers all over it..dislike....I want to go with a rustic cabin look to make it feel warm and inviting. I already have a new bedding set. It is wheat/red/brown in color. I was thinking of painting the walls wheat and using brown curtains which I already have. Just a little advice on decor for my new room.. Out doorsy like, berch bark candle holders, snow shoes wall decor, pictures of deer or other animals...Any Ideas would be great..
