There will be free dog food and cat food available at the Humane Society of Wilkes building at Hidden Oaks Dog Park on Wednesday, Oct. 23, between 9:30 and 11 AM and on Thursday, Oct. 24, between 4:00 and 5:30 PM.

The dog food is Hi-Point Golden Chunks weight management, the cat food is pouches of Reveal brand tuna & shrimp. The cat food is 3-4 months past its "best by" date, but has been kept securely packaged.
The HSOW believes this food, which was originally donated for hurricane relief, is good, but it should be checked carefully before use.
