Update!

The need for pet food is very high, and we gave away all of the dog food we had and over half of the cat food on Wednesday morning but we have gotten some more dog food for Thursday! We'll be there at 4 PM to give away all we have left to those who truly need it.

If you are in a position to DONATE dry dog or cat food for us to share with those in need, we would be so grateful! Just bring it when you can and leave it by the front door or join us at 4 PM.

The cat food is pouches of Reveal brand tuna & shrimp. The cat food is 3-4 months past its "best by" date, but has been kept securely packaged. The HSOW believes this food, which was originally donated for hurricane relief, is good, but it should be checked carefully before use.

If you need a little help feeding your pets, please come by to get some food. Enter the baseball field parking area at Cub Creek, 206 S. Bridge St., Wilkesboro, NC. Follow the driveway on the left of the field to the end.
