Ok no I have NOT fallen off of the face of the earth. I got sick over Christmas, it ended up following me into the New Year, with even a trip to the hospital. I am glad to say I am alive and still kicking, and hopefully nicely mended! I am really sorry to leave in a learch so to speak, but I am here. I have even managed to read about 50 pages in the book this evening. It seems a little slow, but I am actually enjoing it.

I wish it wasnt so draining. Does anyone else feel that way? I bury my head into the book and it seems like its rather energy consuming. Nonetheless I am enjoying it!

I think I am behind everyone...but I have gotten to

the part where Alma Clutch has past away... I really like Elphie. I am starting to understand Glinda a bit more as well. The one individual I don't feel all that warm and fuzzy toward is Nessarose. I am assuming that the special shoes that have been sent to her are in fact the magical ruby slippers. I am excitted to find out how they make their way into the story.
Are you guys getting a good feel for this book? I really am enjoying it more now!
