If the doctor gives you a percentage of disability that you will experience for the rest of your life due to this injury they will give you some type of settlement.

Do you always get some sort of a settlement in NC if you have been hurt on the job? I was hurt back in May and have missed 4 months work. I am going back to work, hopefully with no restrictions next week. Does anyone know if I should get some sort of financial settlement just for being hurt on the job?
