I only need to read the very last book...but I don't want to buy a hardcover version. Does anyone know when the paperback will be out? I have really loved this series!

If you look in the first book under the author's books...look under the sookie stackhouse books and you will see two more listed. I wasn't sure though if they were actually part of the series.

Just got my copies. Now I just have to finish reading the book I am already reading.

I noticed there were two more books listed that were written in the series. So is there nine in all?

ok....now I want to read them. Jeesh! Amazon is getting all the money I don't have. Bought my daughter books for birthday & Christmas this year. By the way, the House of Night series by PC Cast is turning out great when you run out of reading material. Just not something I'd suggest for preteens as the first book had some sexual content. I'll check around to see if anyone I know might have the Sookie Series. Need to save a nickel where I can.

I have the first season taped on dvr - and was reading the books years ago. Glad they didn't introduce the Elvis character. Funny my puppy even knows to leave me alone when I play those shows. LOL.
I had to double check the intro when it first started because it said written by, then a few frames later said based on books by. So I knew I was in for a treat.
I pay for HBO for True Blood mainly - and Big Love series. And I have Showtime for the DEXTER series. About the only time I watch them, but I justify in that I don't go to the movies.
For those wanting to buy the books, you might also look on the Barnes and Nobles used book site, you can get most at a reasonable cost.

Thanks for posting that there was going to be a marathon on. I taped them all and begged my daughter to try watching them with me. She wasn't interested but after a few minutes she was hooked and so was I. We have watched all of them now and love the show. I can't wait for next season. I am going to read the books as soon as I can buy some.

Cottontop, have you started them...if so, what do you think??

I just got the next 3 books and will start Club Dead later tonight!

I have to say, as much as I liked Bill after the first book and a half, Eric completely won me over by the end of book 2. He makes Bill seem boring.

At the end of book 2, Tara is finally introduced, but she doesn't seem to be the lifelong friend that is portrayed in the show. I'm anxious to see how book Tara and show Tara compare.

I can't wait for you to see the shows, MSA!! Let me know how you like them....I don't check pm's very often but if you want to continue the dialogue, I'd enjoy it.
