I would donate them to the library. They will give you a tax receipt, and you put in how many books and the fair value of them. Then you deduct it from your taxes. Everyone wins. The library would be glad to have them.

What is the average price of e books for the kindle? In some ways I REALLY want one and in others, I'm just not sure. Edward McKay is a good place to sell ur books. What genres of books do you have and I might be interested also?

I think e-books are the problem!...I was in Winston last week and went into Barne's and Noble to see if they had a book I was looking for, and yes they did But only on e-reader

I refuse to buy a kindle!

DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT A HARDBACK BOOK PUBLISHED IN 1887 BY A HURST AND COMPANY PUBLISHING OF NEW YORK CALLED "GEORGE ELIOTS WORKS" WITH A TITLE OF "MIDDLEMARCH" MIGHT BE WORTH? IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD.

Have you thought about maybe donating some to the library or to local schools first?

If your desperate to sell though, you can give e-bay a shot. I don't really have much luck there but it's a start. What kind of books do you have anyway. Depending on the subject matter I can give you better advise on how to market these.

I HAVE OVER 600 BOOKS I NEED TO SELL. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED? I HAVE PUT THEM ON GW SEVERAL TIMES AND 0 CALLS. I AM DISPLAYING THEM AT A GARAGE SALE ON THE CONGO ROAD, BUT SO FAR NO TAKERS. I AM ONLY ASKING 50 DOLLARS FOR ALL OF THEM AND A FEW OF THEM ARE PROBABLY WORTH THAT BY THEMSELVES.
