I'm juggling a few books right now- Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King is great. Its a fast read with four short stories. "The Sociopath Next Door" is a dark non-fiction work that explains why people do the weirdest sh-t. The complete Infidels Guide to Islam is a good read if you aren't a muslim. Otherwise you would just be offended.

The Chamber by John Grisham...typical Grisham lawyer drama, but a page turner...and I'm digging it.

It's supposed to be more for teens, but the subject matter is more for adults (in my opinion). It is in NO way similar to Twilight, as it deals with much more realistic themes: starvation, slavery, revolution, etc...
It made me cry, think & be more grateful for the things in my life.

Just finish Sunlight, Moonlight. Two stories by the same author. I want to say Amanda Ashley, but not sure. Books is in the other room. It was fairly good read. the first story was about an alien crash landing here and pretending to be human while waiting on pick up. The 2nd story was a vamp romance.

It sounds good. Is it more for teens or does it have adult aspects too?

@ DaddyP - I read them all on my Kindle! The books take place at some point in America's future. The land has been broken down into 12 districts & a Capital. The Capital controls all the districts & as a punishment to the districts for a rebellion 74 yrs. ago, each yr. all the districts have to send 1 boy & 1 girl to fight to the death in an arena. Viewing the Hunger Games are mandatory throughout the districts. Don't want to give the stories away, so will say no more.

Rj can you tell me a little about these books? I have all three of them on my Kindle but didn't know if they were good or not.

I am now reading The Red Tent. It is a novel about women of the Bible and how they had to go into a red tent for menses and child birth. It tells the story of Dinah and how it was to have four mothers.. Leah, Rachael, Bilah and Zilpah who were all sisters married to Jacob.

I just finished The Host which was awesome!! I was crying all through it. I did not expect it to be such a good book. It tells the story of acceptance and compassion and overcoming hatred because of differences. No religion mentioned whatsoever which was unexpected also. It is about aliens taking over Earth.

Just finished Mockingjay - the last book in the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. All I can say is WOW, what a ride! I would highly recommend this series to anyone.
