Yeah definitely read Janet Daily. She has several Duet books outs with two stories each and her stories are quite humorous.

Thanks guys! I have read Diana Palmaer and love her too. I've never read any of Dorothy Garlock, but I will look her up. Thanks guys any other suggestions?

Yes, definitely try Janet Dailey, specifically the Calder series. My mother-in-law read them over and over. There are lots of romance authors who write westerns, both historical and contemporary. A couple to try are Cheryl St. John and Elizabeth Lane. Here's a website you can look at that might help: Normal 0 http://petticoatsandpistols.com/.
And though he's not exactly known as a romance author, both men and women love Louis L'Amour's books. The Sacketts series is a good place to start.
