Yeah, I don't really get the whole banging your husband's best friend right after your husband died thing. Especially since they're supposed to be in a situation where they don't really have access to personal hygiene items. Seriously... not only was she banging her " dead " husband's best friend, she was banging the best friend that hadn't showered, shaved or brushed his teeth. Yuck. Sweaty, smelly balls. Boo.

I blame Lori for everything that happened to Shane. I think his real breaking point was when she said, "even if this baby is yours, it will never be yours." That was just cold. No one forced her to sleep with him. Grief, lust, whatever -- just because your husband comes back from the dead doesn't mean you get to make unilateral decisions about your unborn child with no input from one of the suspected fathers. Plus, I got annoyed by her Lady MacBeth-ing Rick, only to get all snotty when he did what she wanted by killing Shane.

Exactly, when she thought Rick was dead there was no mourning.... Unless she mourns on her back.

lifeatbest, I thought Shane was a little too interested in asking about Lori in Season 1, too. Why on earth would Shane and Rick fight over her??? I am WAY better looking and wouldn't be giving it up to my husbands best friend 2 minutes after he died anyway. I mean, it's the end of the world!! Why are any of these people thinking about sex? And there are no living humans working at Walgreen's counter anymore- go steal some flippin' condoms! Besides, while Shane and Rick are both handsome, I would throw myself at Daryl anyway...

Did anyone watch the very first 1st season episode when Shane and Rick were sitting in their police car (before Rick got shot and was in the hospital). I told my husband then that Shane had an interest in Rick's wife. Just something about the way he asked about Lori and the look on his face. Foreshadowing I guess. I don't think Shane left Rick purposely to die in the hospital; but, I think Shane got a little crazy with everything that happened with Lori, Otis, the strain of the situation. He broke and decided to plot to kill Rick.
