I read an interview today with one of the directors of the show & he says it is the Spanish Flu that killed Patrick in the shower. I believe there is going to be an epidemic this season.

Wow, those ratings were HUGE. 16.1 million! It was up 4 million over last season's finale.
Did everyone see the preview on Talking Dead? I bet that it's one of those dumb kids who was naming the walkers, feeding a rat to its pet.

Personally, I don't think it was a zombie virus that did him in.
He had another ailment and he just died from that....then came back as a zombie. Whatever killed him, killed the pig too.
But if you remember.... Daryl licked his hands, shook Harry Potter's hand. Does this mean Daryl has mega-syphilis?
I think the answer is going to be found back in season 1, when they were at the CDC. Just my personal opinion though.
