Walking Dead Episode 3 Discussion Tonight

Ok, so... while I was watching the show tonight, a thought popped in my head. We see people referring to the undead as walkers, and biters.... but let's face it, this show is portrayed during current times. Why the heck don't they refer to them as zombies? I mean, zombie movies would have been around during the time before all of this happened...
I dunno. Random, I know... but just something that I'm trying to figure out...lol

I think this season is a lot better. Last season the pace was terrible. They stayed at the farm and dragged out the Zombie Sophia reveal way too long. This season is moving much more rapidly.

For some reason, this season just doesn't seem as engrossing as the two prior seasons. Hopefully it will change.
