Because he would not be truthful about the whole situation, and was being a punk.

Why did Rick leave the black on the roof to die?

If that machete action had happened last week, I would have thought it subtle cross-promotion between The Walking Dead and the Friday the 13th marathon.

No, he killed those guys in the bar when he and Glenn went to fetch drunk Hop-along Herschel after the barn zombie massacre. And, he was going to kill the wounded guy they brought back (because they didn't trust him) until a) Carl was all "kill him, daddy!" and b) Shane got to him first.

Some one remind me.
Was this the first time Rick killed someone who was not zombified?

I wonder if the person in the bushes watching Carol was Merle?
Man, I can't wait to see that reunion between Merle and Daryl.

This show is the only reason I still watch episodic television.
Imma liking Revolution.
Just finished watching all 11 (13) episodes of Terra Nova.
Currently kind of enjoying Alphas.

I like Carol becoming a more productive part of the group also. Before she had been sort of a weak link. Now she has a place.

I'm glad Herschel made it, if only so I can start calling him "Hop-along Herschel." Though, if he had to come back as a zombie, it would've been great if he'd done it while Lori was performing CPR. Not going to lie, I did kind of hope that he bit her tongue off and Rick had to put her down.
I'm starting to be impressed by Carl, who is turning into a mini-Rick. And, Daryl, as per usual, was awesome. Norman Reedus is the reason God made sleeveless shirts.
My favorite part was Carol going all Dr. House on the zombie woman to prepare for Lori's upcoming birth. I guess Hop-along Herschel will be able to perform the c-section since he's, you know, not a zombie. But, it's still cool to see this proactive Carol. I really thought she'd crumble in the wake of Sophia's death, but she's totally doing the whole phoenix-rising-from-her-ashes thing. Clearly, Daryl's awesomeness is as infectious as the zombie virus. Maybe if Lori spent more time with Daryl...
