I love Christine Feehan every year when a new one comes out I reread them all. She have other series too. I have all her books. It is not all mushy romance it has lots of interesting things. I also love Lynsay Sands the Argeneau series they are great with a twist on why they are vampire they are from Atlantis where as The Dark series by Feehan they are born that way. I also love J R Ward Brotherhood series. Then you have Nina Bangs and the Woo Woo Inn awesome. Katie MacAlister has a couple of different series one is vampire. P. C. Cast and Kristen Cast House of Night series would be a recommend for those who liked the Twilight series. Charaine Harris in Sookie Stackhouse series is great too True Blood off HBO was based on these.

Nora Roberts, the Circle Trilogy (I think). Starts with Morrigan's Cross. Vampires, witches, shapeshifters. It was pretty good. I just don't really do "romance". The vampire theme is the only reason I picked up a NR book. Also, the Pagan Stone Circle of Seven Trilogy, was alright.

Anybody read Christine Feehan? Is it just mushy, gushy romance, or does it actually have a decent plot?

I have started the Brian Lumley Necromancer books. Only read the first.

Finally, I book I really enjoyed was The Historian by Elizabeth something or other. A lot of European history.

John Gideon's Golden Eyes. Also pretty good.
