Have you read the Edwards version of the Twilight book. It is on the autors website. It is called Midnight Sun. There are only a couple of chapters on her website allowing you to read them. i loved them. I can't wait until she publishes it.

I loved Breaking Dawn. I talked about this series so much my husband read them, too! He would get to a good part then have to go to work(truck driver) and he'd call me and ask if I'd read a couple of chapters to him. A couple of chapters usually ended up being a couple hours but I love the fact we have found one more thing we have in common. Kind of cool considering he though it was just a romance novel at first. He still acts sort of sheepish when we talk about the series in front of someone else. He tells others he pre-read to see if it was appropriate for our daughter.... We decided to wait and get the movie on DVD and watch it for the first time at home. I wonder if he just wanted to aviod seeing someone who might recognize him at the theater. I hope their is more of this series to come...please, please, please book gods!

I think Breaking Dawn will make the best movie if they make all 4 I can't wait for New Moon to come out. I'm so glad they are keeping Jacob. He is my favorite chacter in the books. I myself so wanted him to get with Bella but I understand why he had a bond but I wanted it to be more. I thought most of the chacters in the movie were great. I went thinking I didn't like Robert for Edward but came out loving him in the role. I still don't think Bella father looks right to me but after a few more scenes maybe he will grow on me. Alice didn't look as I imaged but she is great now. Carlie, Esme, Victoria were all just as I thought so I loved them. What did some of the rest of you think about the chacters in the movie. Well, I finished Breaking Dawn yesterday. I must say, I loved this series!! It was great! Breaking Dawn is my favorite one!

omg i love the series lol i have the first edition of all the books lol. im a book fiend. im actually writing a book right now and stephanie meyers offered me some inspiration to help. she is an amazing writer and im hoping to follow in her footsteps

I enjoyed them and I think the reason why this was such a hit was because the author did a great job at building each character into a person most of us can identify with and understand.

i LOVE the twilight series. i spent all my time reading, so i was done with all four of them in a little over a week. i saw the movie too, its good but not as good as the book.

I just finished New Moon and it wasn't as good as Twilight but I still liked it. I am waiting to get Eclipse now...Hopefully I will get it tomorrow. I have never read a series before...just couldn't get into one, but this one I really like.

I ordered my 13 year old daughter all 4 of them (The series) and she loves them, she hasn't put them down, she even takes them to school w/her. But she said the second one wasn't as good.

I am over half way through the last book and I'm dreading that it will end. Just like I did with the harry potter books. I agree with missy the 2nd wasn't that good but a must.

missyvader, thanks for the input. My sister has read New Moon and she said she liked it but Twilight is better. I will probably get it this weekend to start it. I'll let you know what I think when I get done!

dcrmom, just a a warning the second book isn't all that great... but the third and fourth books are THE GREATEST. Even though the second isn't that good, it is totally necessary for the series. I hope ya like them!

I finished Twilight on Thursday and went and saw the movie last night. I liked both but I like the book better. I can't wait to get New Moon to read it. I normally don't like book series but this one, I think I will!
