Walmart in Wilkesboro has "Dead and Gone" just in case anyone wants it.

Tara is in the book, she is just a different person in the book than she is in the series...completely different...i like her better on the tv show...the tv show is adapted from the books, but that is about it.

Someone was saying they usually like the book better but isnt it slighty different than the tv show? Ive heard Tara isnt in the book? BTW im Team Bill!

The hardcover of Dead and Gone has been out since May 2009. The paperback may be just being released soon, but like I said the book has been out a long time. I read it months ago.

Yep Dead and Gone is not released until 4/6/10...gosh i cant wait until the DVD set of the 2nd season of the show comes out! Normally i like the books better, but in this case I am hooked on the tv series.

I looked at this walmart they don't have it and I also went to the book store in Boone's mall not there either.If anyone has this book and wants to sell it pm me.

Usually Walmart has the Sookie Stackhouse books, but that new Walmart book section isn't hitting on very much any more. Even the old store had a better selection. Most of the Supercenters I go into have a very large book and magazine department. Why not us?
